Our local four-year-old super hero Oscar has donned his cape again for round two in his fight against cancer.

He spent the last year undergoing chemotherapy and radiation after the removal of a kidney. In April this year, he was given a clean bill of health, but in his very first three-month check-up, his mom and dad were told that the cancer was back and that he had a tumour in his lung. He is currently back in Children's Hospital for another round of treatment.

If you are out and about and you see the colourful little boxes with Oscar's story attached, please find a loonie or twoonie to drop in the box. Or if you are in the Sunshine Coast Credit Union, there is an account set up for Oscar Dorval there.

If you just say for Oscar, they will know who you are talking about.

We all know that if money could cure cancer, it wouldn't be an issue, so we are also asking for your prayers and positive thoughts - send them out to our wonderful little buddy, his mom and dad, and the many who love him so they can win this fight with our love and support.
