Kudos to the District of Sechelt for sticking to their policy of smart growth.
On March 7 councillors voted in support of our OCP, protecting our downtown and encouraging investment and development within our urban containment boundary. We cannot afford the demands on our services and the financial risks involved in allowing the huge development proposed by SSC Properties Ltd. to go to first reading in its present form.
