I was impressed by the timeliness of William Baker’s call for a clearer definition of “seaside village character” for Gibsons (Letters, March 2). Why not reflect on the meaning of a horse’s back end long after it’s galloped out the open barn door and you finally realize it left some of its droppings next to your house?
