I would encourage travellers to carefully look at the unique and unusual new format of the BC Ferries schedule for the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale route.
The Saturday sailings are spread far apart. There is a gap of three hours and 40 minutes in the afternoon from Horseshoe Bay. From Langdale the gap is only three hours and 35 minutes!
You have to appreciate that your wait time may be longer, especially if these ferries become “an overload,” which is happening so often these days
