Hats off to our diverse and wonderful community on the Sunshine Coast. You made it happen.
The iconic comic from the East Coast of Canada, Ron James, played to a sell-out crowd at the Rockwood Pavilion last Thursday and proved that Maritimers know how to poke the funny bone. Over 350 locals and guests from afar enjoyed two and a half hours of perma-grin, major guffaws and a better belly workout than 20 crunches at the boomer boot camps in Hidden Grove Park. There was enough endorphin flowing to raise the roof on Rockwood and light up the pavilion for days. Ron James’ comedy has entertained for over 40 years, and he has brought joy and laughter to generations, helping us to laugh at ourselves and connect with our neighbours.
And connect we did. Thanks to Ron and your manager Terry, for making the trip to Sechelt – an unforgettable show.
