Reservoir facts lacking

Re: “Roberts Creek gets first SCRD candidate,” Aug. 31.

Cathrine Fuller does not support Chapman Lake drawdown because it is “ill advised, too expensive and will take too long.” Also by calling it the “sippy cup method,” she implies it is too small a solution. She wants a reservoir, but where would it go? How much will it cost? How long will it take to build? How much extra water can it hope to provide? Proponents of a reservoir should start providing some engineering analysis and cost estimates if they want the idea to be taken seriously.

I admire people who are willing to serve in local government and Roberts Creek has been well served.
