We live at the top of Selma Park Road, on Cedarview Place, with our back garden rubbing up against the forest. There are bears and other wild things in our forest, so we are normally very conscious of not attracting bears into our yards. We don’t compost anymore, as the bears destroyed our last one. We don’t want them getting used to visiting, as it will get them shot.
So imagine my dismay when this morning I went out the back gate and discovered dozens of moulding apples that some dim-witted sod decided to dump right behind our house, right across the pathway. Are you trying to attract the bears?
If it’s a neighbour, please retrieve the apples and take them deeper into the forest, or to the green waste.
You may not be an idiot, but you are doing a good job of imitating one.
