My children told me leading up to Sea Cavalcade that their favourite event was the water sports day at Armours Beach. Sure enough, the Gibsons Pigs Rugby Club delivered.
They put on some great competitions: sponge races, bucket races, swim races, jousting, balloon tossing, piñata whacking, tugs of war and more. There were lots of ribbons for lots of kids. There was even a race for the parents.
Hot weather, warm water and plenty of enthusiasm - it was a fantastic community event. Thank you, Gibsons Pigs.
