No place to park

Letters

Editor:

The population on the Sunshine Coast has grown in the past few years, but the ferry service is not keeping up to the demand of the Coast and even less so with tourist traffic.

Twice in the past week we have arrived at the Langdale ferry terminal to travel as foot passengers and found the parking lot full. There were overloads on the sailings at that time too, so that was not an alternative. Something needs to be done to take the overload of parking. The upper overload lot is not in use and perhaps this could be used as parking for day travellers only. We do not have bus service where we live so the bus in not the answer.

We have a lot of summer left, and this problem needs to be taken care of immediately.
