Having just read the report on the Sechelt library expansion, estimated cost of $1.7 million, it would appear that the idea – contained in a letter to you published April 7 from D. Olsen, wherein the present municipal accommodation be turned over for library use and that a new municipal hall be built on the lot adjacent to the fire hall – is a good idea, well worth serious consideration.
A new municipal building could add a lot to the downtown of Sechelt and maybe even present a boost to the morale of the staff, encouraging them to stay with us!
