Again the Persian New Year and again our MP sabre rattling in the House of Commons on March 25.

He recited a fairly nice poem except the title and the last line hinting at wishes for a war with Iran.

Two thousand years ago the Prince of Peace was betrayed with a kiss. For Easter 2013 our MP chooses to betray Persia with a poem.

Why would Harper's hardliners encourage a war with Iran given the tragic results of the wars with Iraq, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc?

In Iraq alone UNICEF estimates a minimum of 500,000 children died as a result of the siege, bombing, invasion and ongoing occupation. This is what our poetician wants for Iran? Has he been spending a little too much time with fanatical Israeli lobby groups ?A false flag operation on Sept 11, 2001 triggered illegal wars of aggression against Iraq and Afghanistan and other attacks on small countries by the NATO juggernaut resulting in the destitution, maiming and killing of countless men, women and children. What false flag operation is in the works to launch the "Persian Spring" on Iran? Keep your eyes open and do not believe the lies that warmongers tell to disguise their barbarity. Remember the Nazis' stated casus belli in Poland at the start of the Second World War was to protect human rights. Their real purpose was purely imperialistic and their method was fascist.

NATO like NAZI has become just another obscene four-letter word.

Clearly the NATO chauvinists want Persian oil. Our MP and his colleagues should understand that most intelligent Canadians, though perhaps initially dazzled, come fairly quickly to see through war propaganda.

Redirect your energy towards non-violent solutions to problems before your chickens come home to roost.
