Thank you for your article in last Friday’s paper about the Light the Lights Festival in Sechelt. I need to clarify one point, though. I only organized the parade. I can not take credit where it is not due.
The Rockwood was organized by Lynn Dickson (music, choirs), Ruth Moore (Santa, elves, crafts) and Alton Toth (mall events, public relations). Katharine and Kerry from the Sechelt Downtown Business Association kept the event on track, and the Sechelt parks department organized the lights at the Rockwood garden, trees about town and downtown décor. They all deserve the credit. Thank you.
