We live in a rain forest!
Metering water is not going to solve the shortage issue. It is unjust, unfair and unthinkable to be metering residents. What a pathetic money-grab.
Address the problem. Increase the reservoir capacity or build an additional one. A nominal levy can be added to taxes to pay for the required construction. Assess new homes and new developments with a “reservoir” fee.
