I would like to congratulate you on your editorial in the latest edition (Coast Reporter, Oct. 5) suggesting either a road or bridge link to the Lower Mainland.
We all have horror stories about the ferries, so I won't denigrate them here.I do believe the most viable solution is a road to Squamish. There is little doubt itwould be cheaper as there is already a logging road in place, and no special technology would be required.
A bridge, on the other hand, would be extremely expensive, requiring deep support piles, etc.I would be more than willing to pay a toll for this road - anything to get away from a service that is so clearly mismanaged.
The kicker? No more line-ups and waiting while kiosk attendants pass the time of day with the driver of the car in front.There are many advantages to a road connection, and we all know what they are.
