I agree with Doug Hockley’s letter of Sept. 11, “Majority too silent,” with one exception. The “majority” has not been silent. In fact, they came out to vote in the last municipal election in numbers amongst the highest per capita in B.C. They spoke loudly and clearly using the only system provided to all citizens to voice their collective opinions. The results were crystal clear with the two councillors opposed to “The George” being voted out of office and the candidates expressing support voted in. In our system of democracy, the majority has spoken.
