The following letter was sent to member of Parliament John Weston and copied to Coast Reporter.
Dear Mr. Weston:
I would appreciate it if you and your party stopped sending out flyers to the address below. I find these to be little more than "infomercials" in that they offer no relevant or useful information and are a waste of time and taxpayers money.
At a time when your government is preaching austerity and restraint, this is exactly the kind of "preaching" which is hypocritical at best and a slap in the taxpayers face. If you or your party was really sincere in it's effort to "making families a priority," it would be actively seeking methods to address subsidizing a day care program for struggling young families.
Please cease and desist this wasteful exercise.
