The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada’s Sunshine Coast Centre recently held a Deep Sky Poster contest for kids.
We have been unable to locate the third-prize winner in the 10 to 18 year old category: Meriwether Morris, aged 15.
She brought her entry into the Sunshine Coast Art Centre in mid-August. We have been unable to get a response from the telephone number she gave us, and according to School District No. 46, she does not attend school on the Coast. If anyone knows of this person or recognizes the artwork, could they contact Bette Chadwick at 604-885-3403 or email to [email protected]
This young person did an exceptional job with her poster artwork and we would like to locate her so she can collect her prize.
