LIVING FAST

Letters

It’s information age my friend,

Growing like ’twill never end.

App for this and app for that,

Greater speed is where it’s at.

Everything is done in haste,

Idle pleasures gone to waste.

Drive through breakfast in a car,

Eating, driving, how bizarre.

Drop off kids at school on way,

Give them cash for lunch today.

Hands on wheel, phone on ear,

With the mind in working gear.

No time for dinner, cooking slow,

Order pizza, save the show.

Restless sleeping by the phone,

In tomorrow’s ready zone.
