Time enough to vote

Letters

Editor:

I wish to address myself to those who have travelled forward in time and are standing outside a polling place at 7:05 p.m. on Oct. 21 feeling annoyed that the polls didn’t stay open past 7 p.m.

As travel backward in time presents greater theoretical difficulties, it may be difficult for you to emerge precisely at the moment you’d like, such as earlier on the 21st. But if you can make it back to anytime between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Oct. 11, 12, 13 or 14, you can go to an advance poll.
