Oh yes, the folks at BC Ferries in Victoria are an amusing bunch. I’m still trying to determine whether this announcement is a six-months-late or a six-months-early April Fool’s spoof. I will give them credit for a modest improvement in on-time performance in the last year. That, however, came only after a decade of lobbying that they adjust the schedule to make it possible.
The residents of the Sunshine Coast and visitors to the Sunshine Coast have been waiting for reliable, on-time, hourly sailings between Langdale and Horseshoe Bay for 25-plus years. Hey, what’s another 12 years?
