Feel blessed by support

On Sept. 22 we experienced a very serious structural fire on our property in Sechelt. As horrible as it was, we know it could have been much worse had it not been for the amazing first responders that attended.

The Sechelt Fire Department, RCMP, Ambulance (including Air Ambulance) and medical professionals all worked together diligently and in unison like absolute clockwork.

We would like to thank each and every one of you. You are all outstanding professionals. You are truly amazing!

A special thank you to Sechelt assistant fire chief Dwight Davison and RCMP Const. Lee Best for your courtesy, compassion and concern during this difficult time.

Also, a huge thank you to Reece Nelsen, our neighbour, who offered his excavator and time. Reece worked for hours cleaning up and disposing of debris. It was an unselfish labour of love.

We feel so blessed to call this community home, and appreciate all the love and support we have received.

Bruce and Colleen Haynes, Sechelt
