It is said that a rose is a rose, is a rose. But the display of roses that I have observed with great delight all around the Sunnycrest Mall parking lot for the past couple of months has been beyond extraordinary.
Also, while I’m at it, that tree around the back of the mall. I am a horticultural dolt, and I have no idea what kind of tree it is, but it is spectacular, in or out of blossoming season.
Thank you so much, to the grounds people who have given so much thought and care to what could have been a mundane run to the grocery store for everyone. In fact, in June, I made a few evening trips to the mall, just to walk around and look at the roses.
