Letters: What’s that about freedom?

Editor:

I was so proud to see tens of thousands of citizens descend upon our nation’s capital as part of the “freedom convoy.”

Many of them assembled in large crowds without wearing masks, some waved confederate flags & even a Nazi swastika, a few desecrated war memorials. Despite this, police did not react with violent action. No baton charges or rubber bullets, no tear gas or water cannons, no mass arrests. The protesters were allowed to make their views known and leave without hindrance.

What was the point they were there to make again? Something about freedom?!
