The return of journalist Sophie Woodrooffe is a welcome addition to the Coast Reporter. We hope Sophie’s parental leave was as rewarding for her as her past columns were for your readers. Prior to her leave, she frequently covered and reported on Metis events on the Sunshine Coast, such as the raising of the Metis Infinity Flag on the Sechelt Town Hall flagpole on Louis Riel Day, Nov. 16.
She joins an awesome team of women who contribute to the success of the newspaper.
