Letters: 'TRUCKERS' a poem

Fifty thousand trucks I’ve read, Came to Ottawa it is said. To state the fact that truckers free, And show it all to me and thee. To see the government, face to face, And present their trucker’s case.

Fifty thousand trucks I’ve read,
Came to Ottawa it is said.
To state the fact that truckers free,
And show it all to me and thee.
To see the government, face to face,
And present their trucker’s case.
Engines snorting, stacks a venting,
City traffic thus preventing.
Do not plan to move away,
Until directly, have their say.
To face this mob he would not dare,
PM’s hiding in his lair.
