We need to include more musical opportunities for young and old in our communities. Last week we were given a lovely piano as a gift, by our neighbour Elizabeth, for our developing Joyful Learning Centre in Roberts Creek. This will allow young and old some wonderful opportunities to share and appreciate live music and to learn from one another.
The essence of what we are doing and planning here in our “Little Red Schoolhouse” and surrounds has everything to do with music, art, movement, nature, exploration, discovery, cooperation, sharing, and kindness.
With the goodwill of our community, we can do wonders to enhance all our lives. We need to involve children, youth, adults, and elders from all our subcultures together much more in positive, joyful ways. I do think we are getting there and will do much more with the goodwill and kindness of neighbours like Elizabeth.
