Editor:
It was good to see in your Jan. 5 edition that three more residents have expressed their opinions on our water issue. It is unfortunate that they do not realize that the problem is the Regional District and until we get the provincial government to do away with the Regional District as they did in Fort Nelson and give their responsibilities to Sechelt and Gibsons that nothing will change. This level of government has long outlived its usefulness and consistently demonstrate their inability to deal with our water problem. Let’s get the Mayors of Gibsons and Sechelt to approach Victoria for such a change.
Regards,
Brian Hulme, Sechelt
