A spring walk to the Roberts Creek General store from Cheryl Ann Park Road reveals a dangerous, rocky drop off extremely close to the road — at Stephen’s Creek.

Earlier this section of the road had given way in a rainstorm, but it’s been weeks since the partial repair was completed. The drop off is sudden, abuts the road and could easily be the cause of a pedestrian or a bicyclist’s demise. MOTI needs to do something about it before they have a lawsuit and a tragedy on their record.

The second thing is, there is no traffic calming on Lower Road. There are no signs indicating what the speed limit is – and drivers all seem to assume it’s more than 50 clicks – most traffic on Lower Road is speeding traffic. Where are is our government when we need it?

Help!
