Letters: Road gentrification

Glassford Road closure issues raised last month are just the “thin edge of the wedge” of large scale “calming” for Gower Point Road.

You think Glassford is a problem. Wait for the planning shoe to drop on Gower Point Road. Single lanes, crosswalks, even a “multi use path” or MUP in planspeak. Soon, a rural, scenic road with all it blemishes will be upgraded, gentrified to suit the needs of Gospel Rock walkers. Think I’m crazy? Look it up.

Gibsons voters need to pay attention to these needless changes.
