Michael Maser [March 11 letter] insists we flock together on his side of the fence in support of social democracy. Otherwise, you are over there cheering for tyranny. Beware the likes of Maser who would divide us even further than Trudeau’s dictates have already divided us. Beware the tyrant in democracy’s clothing; he who would single you out for your “dissent and distrust in government.” It is exactly because of rants like Mr. Maser’s that democracies enact Charters of Rights and Freedoms. Line up over here if you believe in your right to protest governments heading down the slippery slope of tyranny.
