Accessibility is an issue. That’s the reason that people are writing letters to the paper and making it a more important topic than water shortage or affordable housing. In my 49 years in Sechelt, I have seen many people taking in the beauty of the Sechelt waterfront. Some able to walk to get there, many that needed vehicle access so they could get there to walk. There is plenty of room for pedestrians to enjoy a nice walk, without “dodging vehicles.” Vehicle traffic has always been there. (Reference “Accessibility not an issue at Boulevard,” Feb. 25 Coast Reporter) “Your” boulevard hasn’t been spoiled by vehicles in the eight years you’ve been in Sechelt, nor has it in my 49 years.
