Letters: Not part of the retirement plan

Editor:

My trees, vegetables and flowers are dying. Carrying saved water from upstairs shower to garden has never been my retirement plan. Only in Sechelt where I pay 25 per cent more taxes than on my previous house, yet I received less service. I paid for garden water for so many years, which I did not get. Everyone should get a refund to cover rising prices. Replacing working pavement is waste of public funds, which should be spent in water upgrade. District should do everything possible to get provincial and federal funds to assist in improving water supply to residents as we do pay GST & PST. District should not fine residents for beautifying the streets with flowers. How long will this misery persist?
