Letters: Let’s share the space

Boulevard
Boulevard in downtown Sechelt in February 2022

Editor:

On our midday walk along the Boulevard today, the 5700 block was full of parked cars with people eating lunch and enjoying the view while sheltered from the cold wind. No cars were idling and two of them sported handicapped decals. To push everyone over to Davis Bay to protect the “tranquility” of the area for the exclusive use of residents of the nearby waterfront condos is absurd. We need more view spots not less.  Spend some money on creating a better pathway along the muddy, uneven and sparse grass that borders the road on the waterfront side for a safe walking alternative to the road surface. Let’s all share the space.
