If we needed a clear indication that global leaders just don’t get the climate emergency it is on display in Glasgow at COP26. 400 private jets that will spew more GHG into the atmosphere than 1,600 Scots do in a year brought in “leaders” and their entourages to solve the climate problem. How can we expect the people who travel that way to agree to actions that will rein in GHG emissions? My goodness, they might have to travel in first class on a commercial jet, intolerable.
