A major construction project now under way will see new water mains installed along Reed Road. This is a perfect opportunity for the SCRD and the Town of Gibsons to create a cycling/walking path from North Road to Park Road, similar to the one recently completed between Park and Payne. Reed Road is exceptionally busy every time a ferry docks and is too narrow to safely accommodate drivers in a hurry and cyclists. A walking/cycling path would benefit everyone.
