Letters: How not to run a city

After reading the articles about running out of water, reading the letters about how some people are laughing about it makes me feel better. I’m laughing at the articles too! Sechelt is worried about running out of water, yet when you just drive along the highway next to the Great Wall of Sechelt, you see houses being built! Another huge neighbourhood planned to be built just above that!
When is Sechelt going to have people run it that know how to run a city properly? We used to be a great place to live – peace and quiet, lots of trees, and a great population. Now we have no peace and quiet, all the trees are gone or going, we are so overpopulated – and whining about running out of water when houses are being built, and still planning on building huge neighbourhoods! Sechelt has got to be the biggest lesson on how not to run a city. You are worried about running out of water and you just keep building. What a joke.
