I second Ms. Fredricksen’s concerns re: Sunshine Coast escape plan (Coast Reporter, March 22); one of the very few evacuation points for the south Coast is Hopkins Landing wharf, closed last year by government edict, with no apparent plan for repair, upgrading, or replacement. To ensure that in the event of a crisis it will be useless as an evacuation point the authorities also removed the attached floating dock. We’re still waiting…
