Janine Dunn is the local Gibsons artist who was commissioned last year by the Town of Gibsons to create “The Landing Eye” sculpture. It was installed at the five corners in Lower Gibsons and has become a beautiful landmark art installation for the town.
The Pale Fire Gallery, a well known and prestigious Vancouver art gallery, will be showing a collection of Janine’s paintings in a solo exhibition starting May 18.
It’s nice to see one of our many Sunshine Coast artists getting due recognition and becoming more well known off Coast.
