If it’s yellow, let it mellow…

I’ve been living on the Sunshine Coast for seven years now and have lived through a few summers of severe water restrictions, even to the point of taking showers with buckets to collect water for the vegetable garden, which is good to do anyway. To my surprise and consternation, none of our elected officials has ever suggested that we cut down on the amount of toilet-flushing, which must contribute to a significant percentage of water usage. Water is a precious resource, too valuable to waste, especially if you have to choose between growing food or keeping your toilet pristine.
