Sunshine Coast Electric Vehicle Association is excited to learn more about the proposed electric passenger ferry from Sunshine Coast to downtown Vancouver! We encourage everyone to attend the Greenline Ferries Town Hall at Gibsons Public Market, Jan. 17, 5 to 8 p.m. to learn more. Drop by anytime that evening to ask your hard questions and bring any/all ideas to make this work. Local support is crucial to applying for future funding.

Sunshine Coast continues “Leading the Charge!” – We have the highest rate of automobile EV adoption in North America! We also have Harbour Air Seaplanes developing its first electric seaplane, and have had a huge adoption of e-bikes. Now, we have the opportunity to support an electric passenger ferry!

There is something special about the Sunshine Coast. We are not just “Still Standing.” We are leaders in clean, sustainable transportation as well as in implementation of solar energy (on roofs of all Sunshine Coast schools and growing number of homes and large buildings), and could be users of Canada’s first fully-electric, passenger ferry.

SCEVA will have an information and membership table at the Town Hall so please come by to say hello. And become a SCEVA member – it’s free! Requirement is only to be curious or keen about electric vehicles.

And come along to meet the Greenline team and find out more about how it could be possible for us to have a clean, efficient, reliable, 21st century passenger ferry to downtown Vancouver.
