Last week’s political cartoon depicted a teacher warning students away from bogus science. She presumed to know where the science can be found. NOT on TikTok. NOT in the comments section, and definitely NOT from Uncle Harry. To that list I would add: NOT from any politician, health authority or so-called expert.
An “expert” is not science. Science is science. And science is found in published scientific papers. The links to these studies can be posted anywhere. Indeed, links to the data are more likely to be found in alternative media. Because many alt-media sites only exist to challenge the bloviations of corrupt authorities. With facts. Uncle Harry may only be pointing me in the direction of the facts. Don’t shoot the messenger.
