I thought it might be time again to let people know about the volunteer-run Repair Café here on the Coast. Wayne, Fred, Jan, Alastair, Morris, Micah, Arne, Lee and the rest of the gang will help you repair your broken small appliances, electronics, yard tools, gizmos, gadgets, thingamajigs, bizilbixes, bingle balls, and whirleygigs. For free! And, there’s coffee, cookies and goodies for you to snack on while your repair is being done with flair, humour and maybe even an anecdote or two. See us the first and last Saturdays of the month at the Gibsons Legion and the second Saturday of the month at the Sechelt Library. Your donations, while not required, are most welcome and will help support our on-going efforts to keep your fliminfliggers working and out of the landfill!
