In a recent social media post, I predicted an approval vote by council for the Stonehurst proposal of 4-1 or 3-2. Never have I been more delighted to eat my words. Thank you, council, for sifting through the rhetoric, assessing the risks vs. benefits, and voting appropriately. 

It doesn’t get easier having to make crucial land management decisions based on our critically flawed Official Community Plan. Fixing it first and foremost will be better for all: current and future residents and developers.
