I offer my congratulations to the Chatelech 2025 Grad Class as well as the grads from the Sunshine Coast Alternative School!
As you embrace your passions going forward, know that all of Sechelt is very proud of each of you!
As I’ve said to grad classes in the past, I have two pieces of advice for you – first, you MUST leave Sechelt! Yes, it’s time to go! <smile>
Whether it’s elsewhere in B.C. or farther afield, go and learn about the world! Try new things, embrace change, learn how other people live and stay curious, forever.
Which brings me to my second piece of advice . . . COME BACK! After spending time away from Sechelt, you’ll know how wonderful our community is! And you’ll have lots of ideas about what you can do to make it even better in the future.
But for now, this is your time – enjoy it, be proud of your accomplishments and have some fun as you begin a new chapter of your lives!
