Letters: Appreciating the SSC FAC's tenacity

'We may or may not begin to see some positive results come out of the September 20 meeting, but there is always hope as long as our SCFAC hangs in there.'

The Southern Sunshine Coast Ferry Advisory Committee (SSCFAC) gathered with senior representatives of BC Ferries in Gibsons on Sept. 20 for their biannual meeting

Editor:

I wish to thank the Sunshine Coast Ferry Advisory Committee for the relentless and mostly thankless work that they have put and are putting into pushing BC Ferries to better serve the Sunshine Coast.  It takes tenacity to make change, and Diana Mumford and her committee have that tenacity.

I would also like to commend the people who showed up for the meeting and voiced their frustrations.

We may or may not begin to see some positive results come out of the September 20 meeting, but there is always hope as long as our SCFAC hangs in there.
