Why is nobody talking about desalination? Do we not live on the ocean?
Countries like South Africa and Saudi Arabia rely on desalination plants.
Expensive? How much is the implementation of water meters and helicopter rides to check siphons sucking a puddle dry? What’s the point of a water meter if there’s no water to meter?
But salt brine is bad for the ocean!
Save it to salt the goat trail or make Sunshine Coast sea salt products.
The ocean is rising and the lakes are shrinking.
Desalination technology was only invented by the Ancient Greeks, so give the SCRD time to catch on.
