Elphinstone News: I have two great seniors, Frank and Diny Vanderloo, and they have been helping with our Tetrahedron District Girl Guides. The last three-four years we have started a monthly bottle drive to increase our funds in our local bursary so our girls who finish our program earn a little toward their educations.
So these two great seniors clean, sort and bring the bottles and cans to Return It as well as the liquor stores in Gibsons.
We have brought our bursary up to $10,000. So a big thanks to the community that gives us regular donations of your bottles and cans, because without you we would not have a fundraiser.
