9. We stink!
8. We don’t ever water our lawn!
7. We don’t ever use a pressure washer to clean our house nor our driveway nor deck!
6. We don’t wash our car but once per year whether it needs it or not!
5. We do water our vegetables using recycled water from rinsing dishes!
4. We do conserve water in so many ways this publication doesn’t have room to print them all!
3. We do pay our annual water bill each year well before it’s due!
2. We do pay our taxes that rise annually well before they are due!
1. But we stink because we only shower every couple days even during this incredible hot weather so that we can conserve even more of it. Meanwhile we’ve been listening and reading for more than nine years about how the SCRD talks about which way they should do something to end the water shortages we face year after year and yet no visible solutions have occurred! We’re still waiting for the right party to make the right decision, isn’t everyone?
And that fact stinks more than anything!
