A heartfelt thank you to all involved in stopping a forest fire from taking hold above Crystal Road in Roberts Creek on Saturday. So very reassuring to see such incredibly quick and decisive action by so many. Dedicated eyes in the sky, residents guiding crews to the location, others letting neighbours know what was going on. I am so proud and thankful to live in this community! And of course, the fabulous Roberts Creek Fire Department crews and the heroes in the sky water bombers. Thank you, thank you!
As the sign says: Extreme Fire Hazard. Don’t even fart in the forest!
