There’s a town hall about fire protection at the Roberts Creek Community Hall Feb. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. This meeting will include:
1) My introduction representing concerned neighbours.
2) Wayne McMahon to discuss fire protection/ prevention protocols. Wayne has more than 30 years of firefighting experience in both forest and residential service.
3) Small group discussion about how we can create a Fire Smart neighborhood. This will have several ideas and include time for “brainstorming.”
4) A summary report to be produced and submitted to all levels of government.
